What does an air purifier do?

The air in your office may seem clean but it contains tiny amounts of dust, pollen, allergens, molds and even viruses. These particles have a significant impact on air quality, which can affect not only your employees and your customers, but also your company’s image.

An air purifier helps eliminate most pollutants by trapping them in its filters:

  • an exterior foam filter for large dust particles
  • an interior HEPA filter for the finest particles and viruses
  • a carbon filter for capturing harmful fumes and bad smells

Benefits of cleaning your air purifier filters

A well-maintained commercial air purifier:

  • provides clean air;
  • removes air pollutants;
  • reduces health risks;
  • eliminates bad smells;
  • ensures better air circulation.

How often should my air purifier filters be cleaned?

Regular cleaning of your air purifier’s filter will ensure that it works properly, lasts longer and makes your air healthier. We strongly recommend cleaning and disinfecting your air purifier every three months to keep it working efficiently. During cleaning, the condition of the HEPA and carbon filters, which are not cleaned but changed regularly, can also be checked.

Why should I have my air filters professionally cleaned?

Whether you work in a dental office, a school, or any other office space, you probably have several air purifiers. Cleaning them would require you to disassemble each unit, clean it, and then reassemble it, taking valuable time out of your already busy schedule.

Filter cleaning also requires specialized and expensive equipment to prevent further contamination of the environment.

By hiring MOM Cleaning to clean your filters, you leave the dirty work to us so you can save time and money!

How much does it cost to have my air filters professionally cleaned?

Our rate is $35 plus taxes per machine. This includes the machine’s removal for cleaning either in our workshop or in our truck, and its disassembly and reassembly according to the manufacturers’ instructions.

Take note that we only travel for jobs of $200 and up. If you don’t have a large enough fleet of machines, consider grouping filter cleaning jobs with other maintenance of your air conditioning, heating, ventilation, or dryer ducts, as these jobs use the same equipment and are performed by the same crews.
