A Brief History of MOM

Like many great business ideas, MOM had modest beginning. In 2004, one of our founders was in college and working in construction during his summer holidays. When school resumed in the fall, the building he had helped to build required ongoing janitorial services. Seeing a business opportunity that could fund his continued studies, he secured the maintenance contract and hired staff.

Our founder’s appetite for hard work, along with his trustworthiness and commitment to customer service, revealed something surprising. The market he had stumbled into was eager for someone like him. The provision of janitorial services offered unlimited opportunities for growth, provided that he kept his values and service-focused business model intact.

 

And so began the MOM story.

MOM has grown rapidly over the years, with more partners, employees, systems, franchisees and, of course, clients. But the initial idea that differentiates MOM from its competitors is unchanged. We’re innovators when it comes to technology, training, systems — and especially customer service.

Unit Franchisees receive a start-up inventory of equipment and supplies, and can take advantage of MOM’s volume buying power to purchase additional supplies. Financing for equipment purchase is also available.
